Ocean-View Vacation Rentals
122 of 122 professionally managed homes — book direct, no service fees.
Every home in this collection is on the coast with a genuine view of the Pacific — blufftop houses at The Sea Ranch where the surf is the soundtrack, ridge homes above Gualala, and beach houses over Bodega Bay.
We're strict about what counts: this list is limited to homes in true coastal locations whose views we stand behind. If a home is in the trees or set back inland, it isn't here — no "partial ocean glimpse from the driveway" listings.

How do you decide what qualifies as ocean view?
The home must be in a coastal community — The Sea Ranch, Gualala, Bodega Bay, Jenner — and the view must be part of the home's own verified description, not just a checkbox. Inland homes never appear here regardless of how they're tagged elsewhere.
When is whale-watching season?
Gray whales migrate south along this coast from roughly December through February and return north with calves from March through May. Blufftop homes at The Sea Ranch and Gualala are natural viewing platforms.
Are ocean-view homes more expensive?
Generally yes — blufftop and oceanfront settings carry a premium, especially in summer. Midweek and winter stays are the value plays; a storm-watching weekend with a fire going is its own kind of trip.
