These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to https://searanchsonoma.com and any other pages operated by Casago Sonoma County as part of Sea Ranch & Sonoma Vacation Homes (collectively, the "Site").

The Site is operated by Casago Sonoma County, an independently owned and operated franchisee of Casago International LLC and its affiliates ("Casago"). In these Terms, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Casago Sonoma County. The terms "user," "you," and "your" refer to the person using or accessing the Site.

By using or accessing the Site in any manner, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not fully agree to these Terms, you are not authorized to use or access the Site. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into legally binding contracts to use the Site.

When you book a vacation rental through this Site, you enter into a direct contractual relationship with Casago Sonoma County for the management and booking of the property you select. Casago International LLC is the franchisor of the Casago brand and is not a party to your rental agreement unless Casago International LLC is identified as the property manager for a specific listing.

Revisions

We may change, add to, or otherwise modify these Terms in the future without prior notice. We will list the date of the last revision at the top of this page, and any revisions will take effect upon posting. Your continued use of or access to the Site after any revision constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Privacy Policy

Casago Sonoma County values your privacy. Our Privacy Policy governs your use of and access to the Site and is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

Limited License to Access and Use the Site

Provided you comply with these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable, and non-exclusive right to access and use the Site to search for vacation rentals, book or inquire about bookings, and take related actions expressly permitted on the Site.

Prohibited Activity

Any use of the Site for any purpose not expressly permitted by these Terms is prohibited. Without limitation, you agree not to:

use the Site or its contents for any commercial purpose except as we authorize;
copy, transmit, upload, or store Site content except as permitted by these Terms;
use the Site to violate, circumvent, or infringe the rights of Casago Sonoma County, Casago, or any other person or entity;
use any automated means to access, scrape, copy, or aggregate Site content except as expressly permitted for bona fide search engines that comply with these Terms;
use Site content, including AI-generated content from our services, to develop machine learning models or related AI technology;
use the Site in a fraudulent manner, including making a reservation under a false name or with an unauthorized payment method;
use the Site to solicit owners or guests to book outside Casago Sonoma County's services or to use competing third-party services;
post or transmit unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or discriminatory material through the Site;
take any action that adversely affects the performance or function of the Site or places an unreasonable load on our servers or infrastructure.

Proprietary Rights

All contents of the Site are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You acknowledge that Site contents are the exclusive intellectual property of Casago Sonoma County, Casago, or the applicable rights owner.

Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

We may use artificial intelligence, machine learning, and natural language processing ("AI") to enhance your experience on our Site, including personalized recommendations, dynamic pricing, AI-powered chat and virtual assistants for inquiries and customer service, AI-assisted content creation for property descriptions, image analysis, fraud prevention, and predictive analytics.

By accessing and using our Site, you consent to the use of AI as outlined in this section. If you disagree with these Terms, you should discontinue use of our Site and services.

Reviews and User Content

If you post, submit, upload, or transmit a review or other content to us via the Site ("Submissions"), you grant Casago Sonoma County and Casago a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free, transferable, and fully sublicensable worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, distribute, publish, transmit, and publicly display the Submissions in any media for any purpose. You represent that you have full rights to the Submissions and that they do not violate these Terms.

We have the discretion to pre-screen, remove, or edit reviews or other user-generated content. We do not guarantee the accuracy of user-generated content on the Site.

Reservations and Transaction-Specific Terms

A reservation is confirmed only after you receive written confirmation and any required payment is processed. You must be at least 21 years old to book unless a specific property allows otherwise.

If you reserve a vacation rental through the Site, you may be required to enter into separate agreements or waivers, which may contain different or additional terms ("Transaction Specific Terms"). If a conflict exists between these Terms and Transaction Specific Terms, the Transaction Specific Terms will control. Rental agreements, house rules, and guest screening requirements may be provided after booking through our guest-messaging and screening systems.

Pricing and fees

Sea Ranch & Sonoma Vacation Homes does not charge a separate booking service fee. Nightly rates, cleaning fees, property-specific charges (such as hot tub, pet, or damage waiver fees), and applicable taxes are itemized before you complete payment. The total shown at checkout is what you authorize unless you later modify the reservation.

All fees and charges applicable to a property are disclosed on the listing and at checkout. Property-specific cancellation terms are shown in full before you complete your booking.

Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation terms vary by property and are shown in full before you complete your booking. Most homes follow a flexible or moderate policy — a full refund applies when you cancel within the stated window before check-in. Non-refundable rates, if offered, are labeled clearly at checkout.

Check-in, check-out, and house rules

Check-in and check-out times, occupancy limits, pet policies, and quiet hours vary by home and appear on the listing and in your confirmation. Guests are responsible for following all house rules and for damage caused by their party or pets beyond normal wear.

Guest responsibilities

Provide accurate contact and payment information
Respect neighbors, HOA rules where applicable, and local ordinances
Report maintenance issues promptly during your stay
Leave the property in reasonable condition at departure

International travel

If your travel plans involve international travel, you are responsible for ensuring you have all necessary travel documents and meet all entry requirements. Casago Sonoma County is not liable for travelers refused boarding or entry for any reason.

Liability and warranty disclaimer

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT LIMITS CASAGO SONOMA COUNTY'S LIABILITY TO YOU.

IF YOU CHOOSE TO ACCESS OR USE THE SITE, YOU DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK. THE INFORMATION PUBLISHED ON THE SITE MAY CONTAIN ERRORS, INCLUDING RESERVATION AVAILABILITY ERRORS, PRICING ERRORS, AND INACCURATE OR INCOMPLETE DESCRIPTIONS. CASAGO SONOMA COUNTY DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY OF INFORMATION ON THE SITE AND DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY FOR ERRORS OR INACCURACIES. THE SITE IS OFFERED "AS IS" WITHOUT EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.

Properties are vacation rentals, not hotels. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CASAGO SONOMA COUNTY BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR YOUR STAY AT A PROPERTY, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE.

IF CASAGO SONOMA COUNTY IS FOUND LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE, ITS LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED (1) THE AMOUNT SPECIFIED IN A SEPARATE AGREEMENT FOR THE SPECIFIC TRANSACTION, OR (2) ONE HUNDRED UNITED STATES DOLLARS ($100).

We recommend travel insurance for trips where cancellation or interruption coverage matters.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, hold harmless, and release Casago Sonoma County and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and property owners from and against all claims, liabilities, damages, or costs brought by third parties as a result of (1) your violation of these Terms, (2) your violation of law or any rights of third parties, or (3) your access to or use of the Site or your stay at a property.

Jurisdiction and governing law; class action waiver

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to principles of conflicts of law. You and we consent to the exclusive personal jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Sonoma County, California, for all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of or access to the Site.

YOU AND WE AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.

Assignment

You may not assign these Terms without our express written consent. We may assign these Terms at any time in our sole discretion.

General provisions

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any Transaction Specific Terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and Casago Sonoma County with respect to your use of the Site. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
