What does "book direct" mean?
You reserve the same professionally managed home through our website instead of a booking site. Availability and pricing come straight from our reservation system — the same one our local team uses every day.
Are there service fees when I book direct?
No booking-site markups. You pay the home's nightly rate plus any property-specific fees (such as cleaning, taxes, or a damage waiver) and taxes — all itemized before you pay. We do not add a platform service fee on top.
What property fees might appear at checkout?
Beyond rent and taxes, some homes charge fees such as cleaning, a damage waiver, hot tub use, pet fees, or HOA charges. Every fee listed on a home's checkout quote comes from that property's configuration — nothing is hidden until the last step.
What are check-in and check-out times for Sea Ranch and Sonoma vacation rentals?
Most homes use a 4:00 PM check-in and 11:00 AM check-out, though times vary by property. The exact times for your stay appear on the listing page and in your confirmation email after booking.
Is there a minimum stay for Sea Ranch and Russian River rentals?
Minimum nights vary by home and season — commonly two nights on weekends and sometimes longer around holidays. The minimum for your dates is enforced when you select dates on a listing page.
Do your Sea Ranch and Russian River vacation rentals allow dogs?
Many of our homes welcome dogs; others do not. Use the pet-friendly filter on our search page, or check the amenities listed on each home. Pet fees and limits, when they apply, are shown before you complete your booking.
Which of your vacation rentals have hot tubs?
Dozens of our Sonoma Coast and Russian River homes include a hot tub — from ocean-view retreats in The Sea Ranch to redwood cabins in Guerneville. Use the hot tub filter on our search page to see every available home for your dates.
Do I need a car to visit The Sea Ranch or the Russian River?
Yes — a car is the practical way to explore the Sonoma Coast, Russian River, and Wine Country. Public transit is limited outside town centers, and rideshare can be unreliable. Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport (STS) in Santa Rosa is about 90 minutes from most of our homes.
How far is The Sea Ranch from San Francisco?
The Sea Ranch is about two and a half hours north of San Francisco via Highway 101 and the scenic Highway 1 coastal stretch. Plan extra time on summer weekends when Bay Area traffic is heavy.
Who manages these Sonoma Coast vacation rentals?
Every home on this site is professionally managed by Casago Sonoma County — a locally owned team based on the Sonoma Coast. You work with people who know the house and the area, not a distant call center.
How many vacation rentals do you manage?
We manage more than 200 vacation rentals from The Sea Ranch and Gualala north along the coast, through the Russian River, and into Sonoma and Napa Wine Country. The exact count updates as homes join or leave the portfolio.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation terms vary by property and are shown in full before you complete your booking. Most homes follow a flexible or moderate policy — a full refund applies when you cancel within the stated window before check-in. Non-refundable rates, if offered, are labeled clearly at checkout.
How do I get help before or during my stay?
Start a chat on our contact page for the fastest reply on dates, homes, and booking direct — messages go to the same local reservations team. You can also email reservations@casagosonoma.com. For urgent issues during a stay, use the phone number on your confirmation; we prioritize guests already in residence.
When will online booking be available?
We are finishing checkout on this site now. Until then, browse homes here for live availability and pricing, then call or email our team to hold your dates. Online payment will launch on this same site once final fee reconciliation is complete.
Are the reviews on listing pages real?
Yes. Star ratings and review counts reflect verified guest reviews for each home across the booking channels we manage — not invented or cherry-picked for marketing. Quotes on listing pages come from that same verified review history.
