The space

At Bayside Cottage, mornings begin watching fishing boats motor out as the harbor wakes, afternoons walking Doran Beach or hunting tide pools at Pinnacle Gulch, and evenings on the deck with fresh crab and a glass of cool-climate Pinot. The single room layers living, sleeping, and dining around the bay outside the windows. A leather sofa and armchair circle the gas fireplace; a four-poster queen bed anchors the far end, framed so the harbor is the first thing you see at sunrise. The kitchenette is set up for the morning kettle and reheats — there's no stovetop, so plan to walk to The Boat House or Spud Point for the rest. A drop-leaf table by the window seats two as boats motor past. OUTDOOR LIVING A narrow wooden walkway runs along the water side of the cottage, offering direct access to bay views. The weathered wood deck with railings becomes your perch for morning coffee or evening wine as the sunset paints the water in golds and pinks.
