The space

Things to know

• The kitchenette is perfect for simple meals but lacks a full oven and dishwasher — plan accordingly or enjoy the many excellent local restaurants. • The cottage stays naturally cool thanks to coastal breezes and doesn't have air conditioning — you'll rarely need it here where summer highs reach only the 60s. • Salmon Creek Beach is an easy walk from your door — perfect for morning dog walks. • Keep your pup leashed near the creek as harbor seals often rest on the banks. • The gas grill on the deck is ideal for grilling fresh seafood from local markets. • Internet is provided though speeds may vary. • The primary renter must be 21 or older. • The string lights on the deck create magical evenings — the switch is just inside the sliding door. • The access road can flood during rare high-tide (king tide) events — usually only 1–4 inches, though water can reach the driveway. Pack waterproof boots just in case.
