The space

Water views show through select interior windows, with window seats made for reading, relaxing, or watching the waves. You'll also have a private hot tub and access to Sea Ranch's three rec centers with seasonal pools and tennis courts. This home also allows one dog, so your furry family member can come along too. The playground area is a five-minute walk to the north. Inside, you'll find classic wood-paneled walls and plenty of places to sit back and contemplate life. The living room features attractive décor, a wood-burning stove, as well as a large flatscreen TV with a DVD player, a Roku, and stereo sound. The full kitchen includes major appliances and is well stocked for preparing vacation meals. There's even a dishwasher for easier clean-up. You can pick up groceries at Surf Market in Gualala, grill out on the deck, and enjoy a seafood feast around the dining room table for dinner. On sunny days, sit out on one of the four decks that overlook the ocean view. Or, spend chilly coastal evenings soaking in the hot tub within the enclosed deck and garden. No matter how you spend your time, the whole group will feel right at home here! At night, three bedrooms have one king and two queens - ideal for up to six guests. Nestled in a cluster of homes near the Bluff Trail, this tranquil escape offers a great location just a three-minute walk from Shell Beach, and an equally short walk to Tidepool Beach’s seal rookery. Stock up in Gualala, just 10 minutes south, where you'll find grocery stores, restaurants, a hardware store, and gas. Bodega Bay is a beautiful drive for fresh seafood.

Step inside and settle in -- every room and amenity in this home is yours for your stay. The private hot tub is available around the clock -- no reservation needed. This home welcomes 1 dog -- the yard and nearby trails are ready for your pup. Driveway parking is available at the property. Detailed check-in instructions, including the door code, will be provided prior to your arrival. As a guest, you also have access to Sea Ranch community amenities including the pools, tennis courts, fitness center, and miles of trails. A recreation pass will be provided.

Things to know

Sea Ranch has three recreation centers with heated pools, saunas, and tennis courts. Access passes are provided with your stay -- check availability upon arrival as these shared amenities can be popular during peak times. Exterior lighting is minimal by design to preserve the stunning dark sky -- bring a flashlight for evening walks and enjoy some of the best stargazing on the California coast. Whale watching season runs from December through April -- grab the binoculars and watch for gray whale spouts from your window. Spring (April-June) brings a wildflower show across the coastal meadows -- lupine, poppies, and iris paint the landscape. Summer (June-September) brings the warmest days and longest light. Morning fog is common along the coast -- it usually burns off by midday. You're welcome to bring one dog (up to 50 lbs.). Please keep your dog on a leash while using the trails and clean up after them. Cell service can be spotty along the coast. The home has WiFi for staying connected. This home is on the inland side of the street, not directly on the ocean or bluff side.
