The space

Perched in a coastal meadow with unobstructed views of the Pacific, this single-level Sea Ranch home puts the ocean at the center of your stay. Large picture windows in the living room frame the ever-changing seascape, while a dramatic floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace anchors the room in warmth. Vaulted wood ceilings, redwood-paneled walls, and a classic Sea Ranch aesthetic give the space a feel that's equal parts cozy and iconic. The open floor plan keeps everyone connected -- the kitchen flows into the dining area and living room, all under soaring ceilings. Prepare meals in the kitchen with stainless steel appliances, ample counter space, and terra cotta tile floors, then sit down at the dining table with a view through the sliding glass door to the courtyard. There's a wall-mounted TV with streaming services for quieter evenings. OUTDOOR LIVING Step outside to the expansive ocean-facing deck -- a bench-lined perch where you can take in panoramic views of the Pacific across the meadow. Step inside and settle in -- every room and amenity in this home is yours for your stay. This home welcomes 1 dog -- the nearby trails are ready for your pup. Driveway parking is available at the property. Detailed check-in instructions, including the door code, will be provided prior to your arrival. As a guest, you also have access to Sea Ranch community amenities including the pools, tennis courts, fitness center, and miles of trails. A recreation pass will be provided.

Things to know

You'll come home to a stone fireplace and an expansive ocean-view deck, as well as WiFi, a wall-mounted TV with streaming services (bring your own login). *Cell service and WiFi can be inconsistent Sea Ranch has three recreation centers with heated pools, saunas, and tennis courts. Access passes are provided with your stay -- check availability upon arrival as these shared amenities can be popular during peak times. Exterior lighting is minimal by design to preserve the stunning dark sky -- bring a flashlight for evening walks and enjoy some of the best stargazing on the California coast. December through April is whale season. You may spot gray whales breaching right from the bluff trail nearby. Wildflower season (April-June) transforms the coastal bluffs into a tapestry of color -- worth an extra walk on the trails. Summer offers long days and warm afternoons, though the iconic Sonoma Coast fog often rolls in at sunrise and clears by noon. 1 dog is welcome. Please keep dogs on leash on trails and clean up after them.
