This two-story home boasts an ideal location near the heart of Sea Ranch, right around the corner from the Shell Beach access trail. You'll be next door to One Eyed Jack's picnic area and playground and only a matter of steps from the oceanfront Bluff Trail. When you're not tidepooling or watching the harbor seals play, you'll be within two miles of two of the Sea Ranch rec centers (Del Mar and Ohlson), each with its own heated outdoor pool, tennis courts, and saunas. As you step inside, you'll be greeted by lofty ceilings and a wall of windows that fill the house with sunlight and views. The great room is adorned with natural wood from top to bottom, providing warmth and atmosphere whether you're reading in the window seat or playing board games around the dining room table. Explore over Sea Ranch's 50 miles of trails, discover tidepools at low tide, swim in heated community pools, and end the day with dinner at The Sea Ranch Lodge. Gualala is a quick 10-minute drive south for groceries, dining, and fuel. For a scenic outing, Jenner and Bodega Bay are further down Highway 1.

Step inside and settle in -- every room and amenity in this home is yours for your stay. The private hot tub is available around the clock -- no reservation needed. Driveway parking is available at the property. Detailed check-in instructions, including the door code, will be provided prior to your arrival. As a guest, you also have access to Sea Ranch community amenities including the pools, tennis courts, fitness center, and miles of trails. A recreation pass will be provided.
Streaming services are available with guests' own account credentials. The sleeping loft is accessed by a ladder staircase. Sea Ranch has three recreation centers with heated pools, saunas, and tennis courts. Access passes are provided with your stay -- check availability upon arrival as these shared amenities can be popular during peak times. Exterior lighting is minimal by design to preserve the stunning dark sky -- bring a flashlight for evening walks and enjoy some of the best stargazing on the California coast. Keep your eyes on the horizon from December to April -- gray whales migrate just offshore, and this property has a front-row seat. Visit in spring and the meadows explode with wildflowers. April through June is peak bloom season along the Sonoma Coast. The warmest months are June through September. Expect coastal fog most mornings that gives way to sunny afternoons. Loved that it very close to walking trails straight to the coast. We even saw seal pups, super cute. Fully stocked kitchen. Very peaceful. We definitely come back and rent again. Quick tip: if you’re going to cook, make sure to bring groceries! While the nearby grocery stores were great, there’s nothing like being able to bring your own choice of spices, meats, and produce. Also, bring a swimsuit to take advantage of the community pool.

Terrible place save your money!! After a 7hr drive for my birthday trip and arriving at 9pm with a baby, the second the light came on inside mice started running everywhere. They were in the kitchen, living room, climbing up the couches, under the deck. They even had mouse traps behind furniture which tells me this doesn’t come as a surprise to the host. The host was terrible at communicating even when I had sent pictures/video proof and I ended up having to contact airbnb support myself. We ended up leaving and getting a hotel nearby while we booked another airbnb which was a thousand times better than this for the same price. Please save yourself the stress I had to endure on my birthday trip

The feeling at Dune Drift is one of a beloved family holiday home, with the equipment and extra elements to match. Good cooking utensils , oyster shell shucker, yoga mats , good quality bath toiletries , beach towels etc that make it super easy to show up and get straight into holiday mode. Location was great for families as the property backs onto the children’s adventure playground and a colonnade of cypresses (endless kid friendly curiosity to run through the trees twisting & turning trunks/branches) that lead to Tide Pool beach. The communication with Casago was excellent and in a super fast response time. I have and will continue to recommend to other families in Nor Cal. Would stay again. Thank you Dune Drift.

Great for our family of 4. Kids loved being next door to the park. Mattresses not comfortable. Kitchen was great and well stocked.
