The fireplace in the photos has been removed, and we are working on updating the photos. Whale watching season runs from December through April -- grab the binoculars and watch for gray whale spouts from your window. Spring wildflowers (April-June) blanket the coastal headlands and the banks of the Gualala River with vibrant color. Summer on the Mendonoma Coast (June-September) means warm days and the occasional morning fog that burns off by lunch. Cell service can be spotty along the coast. The home has WiFi for staying connected.

Spectacular view, convenient location, comfortable beds, loved the hot tub and grill - No tools for grilling, kitchen was lacking serving/ mixing bowls - duplicates of black plastic utensils but no decent spatula. As someone who enjoys cooking for my friends and family I was somewhat disappointed with the kitchen.

My wife and I enjoyed the beautiful views right from the living room and also sitting on the terrace. The house was quite clean and had all the amenities. I would like to mention the hot tub on the terrace from which you can watch the sunset... The ocean access is 0.7 miles south. This is a place for those who like to spend a few days away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

What a spectacular home and view! We spent three amazing nights there and had the most beautiful sunsets. The hot tub was a hit - we used it for our morning coffee and evening wine! If you're looking for a place on the coast in this area, we would definitely recommend this home! We cooked in all three nights and the kitchen had all we needed! Majestic! That is the word that came to my mind every time I looked outside. As some of the reviews before me have said, it is much more beautiful than the photos. The hot tub was definitely one of the highlights! There are no stairs, there is a private driveway, and the king bed is very comfortable. Check in was smooth, and we were given a door code. If you’re looking for a nice, private place with ocean views, stop looking and book this place now!
