Santa Rosa's Charles M. Schultz Museum, Safari West, and the Luther Burbank Home are about 45 minutes out when you want to roam farther. Step inside Infinity Ranch to a bank of windows opening onto the wooded surroundings, with a sitting area built around a 42-inch flat screen, Nintendo Wii, and a wet bar with mini-fridge for between-tasting pours. Pull up to the four-seat dining table just off the living room, or keep it casual at the informal dining area in the kitchen — a half bath sits right by the main entry for easy in-and-out from the deck. 10/10 the property was sick and had amazing views, the front door was password was kinda long but thats it.

I had a short break from work, and wanted to get away but needed to relax and recuperate. This place was great for us, we arrived Thursday afternoon and didn't leave until we checked out Sunday. I love swimming, so we spent mornings reading or chatting in the hammocks (mosquitoes were sleeping then) and afternoon/evening by and in the pool. It was quite hot, but house has good screens, and we kept it open overnight, then closed everything in morning and it stayed cool til later afternoon. The house was large enough for 3 people, could comfortable handle 3 couples, and there are 3.5 baths including an interesting one in the hallway nice if you are coming in wet. Beds were comfortable and ceiling fans most appreciated. I would not recommend this place for people with young children or physical disabilities, mainly due to the multiple decks. The house was not the best equipped I've stayed at, there was salt/pepper and oil. Very rudimentary pots/pans, and only 1/2 rolls of paper towels. Furnishings were older but comfortable, which is the way I like them. The property is large, and it's not clear if it's fully fenced. Our dog tends to chase rabbits anyway, so we kept her close and supervised. There is one of those laundry line dogs leads that worked well. There is a little deck behind the propane tank that gives a stunning view of the valley at sunset. The mosquitoes are not sleeping at this time, so beware. Overall it was a really great time. I deduced one star for the inexcusably high fees charged by vacasa/booking site, but for us it was worth the cost, and we had a wonderful time.

The hot tub was perfect. Pool was fine under the sun. Even though the tree branches wouldn’t let the sun till 2 pm. The property is huge and the nature is beautiful. Very peaceful break from living in the city.
