The space

A modern sofa and two camel-leather accent chairs face the stone fireplace (not available for guest use) with wood mantel, angled for forest gazing. Open shelving and full-size appliances keep the galley bright, and a round dining table for four sits on Windsor chairs beside a corner window framing the redwoods. The first bedroom offers a queen bed with signature shiplap walls and forest views. The second features a double/full bed in the same bright aesthetic. A queen sofa bed in the living room adds flexible sleeping. Drop into the private hot tub against the bold red exterior, then come inside to a bright shiplap interior that reads white and airy after the deep forest outside. You've got the whole cottage, dogs welcome, with a BBQ, outdoor dining, and a flagstone patio that doubles the living space. Grab the key from the lockbox; up to three cars fit in the driveway.

Things to know

The wood stove is decorative only — please don't use it, as noted by the reminder on the unit. While there's no washer/dryer, you're here to unplug anyway! The cabin stays naturally cool thanks to the redwood canopy, and the mini-split AC handles the occasional heat wave. Your High-speed internet keeps you connected when needed, though the spotty cell service might be a blessing in disguise. The separate Nut Nook structure on the grounds makes a perfect reading retreat on breezy afternoons. Sonoma County strictly limits occupancy to 4 guests total (children count) — violations carry hefty fines, so please respect this rule. The primary renter must be 21 or older.
