The space

This and newly remodeled Sea Ranch family home is located on a quiet cul-de-sac for privacy and features a serene ocean view across the meadow. There's also a shared pool for staying cool on warm days. The living/dining room is spacious and comfortable with a gas fireplace and this home has a well-equipped kitchen. There are lots of windows and window seats throughout, so curl up with your favorite book or gaze at the view. If you want to see that special TV program or DVD you've been waiting for, there are TVs in both the living room and master bedroom served by Dish Network Satellite. Up to four guests can stay here comfortably in two bedrooms. You'll find a hot tub on the deck in a fenced courtyard so you can melt the cares away while luxuriating. Neighborhood

The Sea Ranch is a one-of-a-kind coastal community on the Sonoma Coast, where miles of trails wind through meadows, forests, and along ocean bluffs. Nearby highlights include community heated pool (North) (7-minute walk), Shell Beach tidepools (7-minute drive), The Sea Ranch Lodge restaurant, lounge and café (7-minute drive). Between the coastal trails, tidepools, heated pools, and The Sea Ranch Lodge's restaurant, you could fill a week without leaving the community. For provisions, Gualala (10 minutes south) has grocery stores, restaurants, and a gas station. Jenner and Bodega Bay are scenic drives south.

Guest access

Step inside and settle in -- every room and amenity in this home is yours for your stay. The private hot tub is available around the clock -- no reservation needed. Driveway parking is available at the property. Detailed check-in instructions, including the door code, will be provided prior to your arrival. As a guest, you also have access to Sea Ranch community amenities including the pools, tennis courts, fitness center, and miles of trails. A recreation pass will be provided.

Things to know

Sea Ranch has three recreation centers with heated pools, saunas, and tennis courts. Access passes are provided with your stay -- check availability upon arrival as these shared amenities can be popular during peak times. Exterior lighting is minimal by design to preserve the stunning dark sky -- bring a flashlight for evening walks and enjoy some of the best stargazing on the California coast. December through April is whale season. You may spot gray whales breaching right from the bluff trail nearby. Wildflower season (April-June) transforms the coastal bluffs into a tapestry of color -- worth an extra walk on the trails. Summer offers long days and warm afternoons, though the iconic Sonoma Coast fog often rolls in at sunrise and clears by noon. Cell service can be spotty along the coast. The home has WiFi for staying connected.
