Guest access

This is your private retreat for the duration of your stay -- full run of the house. The private hot tub is available around the clock -- no reservation needed. Driveway parking is available at the property. Detailed check-in instructions, including the door code, will be provided prior to your arrival.

Things to know

Due to the open loft, Best for guests aged 12 and up. The bedrooms and bathroom are on the second floor, and the second bedroom is accessed through the loft. This vacation rental is not equipped with air-conditioning. Whale watching season runs from December through April -- grab the binoculars and watch for gray whale spouts from your window. Spring wildflowers (April-June) blanket the coastal headlands and the banks of the Gualala River with vibrant color. Summer on the Mendonoma Coast (June-September) means warm days and the occasional morning fog that burns off by lunch. Cell service can be spotty along the coast. The home has WiFi for staying connected.

We had a wonderful stay at the Redwood House. The view is incredible. You're nestled on a private hillside in the redwoods with a beautiful view of the ocean. I could spend days sitting on the deck, reading and listening to the wind in the trees. The kitchen made it easy for us to eat some of our meals at home. The matresses could all use a refresh. We couldn't get the television or the…

We love the views, the quietness, the atmosphere, the space, the hot tub! The Wi-Fi was okay. We had to buy new batteries for both remotes! We expected to have a cheery fireplace but that needed replacing,😢☹️.
