The stay

Sunlight streams through tall windows onto exposed wood beams and dark hardwood floors — this is modern wine country living with room to breathe. Four bedrooms, a pool, hot tub, and fire pit spread across landscaped grounds surrounded by mature trees, all just a five-minute drive from Sonoma Plaza and its 20-plus walkable tasting rooms. Buena Vista Winery and Gundlach Bundschu are each about a mile away. Gather your group and settle into Sonoma Valley the way it was meant to be.

The space

Spend mornings in the garden as the Plaza wakes up, afternoons among Sonoma Plaza's 20+ walkable tasting rooms and farm-to-table restaurants, and evenings on the patio with a Buena Vista Cabernet and dinner from the grill. An adjacent den with its own screen and cowhide rug gives the kids a quieter spot. The kitchen commands attention — shaker cabinets, a professional-style range with hood, subway tile backsplash, and an expansive island seating five beneath pendant lighting. Two dishwashers, a double oven, and an ice machine round out the lineup. A dining table against a white brick accent wall completes the flow toward the pool deck. OUTDOOR LIVING Your backyard unfolds around a swimming pool with lounge chairs and umbrellas, a private hot tub alongside. A screened porch with ceiling fan offers covered dining, a gas grill stands ready for cookouts, and a fire pit invites evening stargazing. Adirondack chairs tucked among ferns provide a quieter moment. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS The main-level primary suite has a king bed, 55-inch TV, and en-suite with double vanity and walk-in shower. A second main-level queen bedroom opens to a covered porch. Upstairs, a twin bedroom and queen bedroom share a third bath. Three full bathrooms total. Sleeps 8. Neighborhood

You are five minutes by car from Sonoma Plaza, the largest public plaza in California and the heart of Sonoma’s walkable wine-and-dining scene with 20-plus tasting rooms. Sebastiani Vineyards & Winery (0.9 mi), Buena Vista Winery (1.0 mi) — one of California’s oldest — and Gundlach Bundschu Winery (1.1 mi) are each about a mile from the front door. Bartholomew Estate Winery (1.1 mi) offers small-production tastings in a historic park. For dining, Café La Haye (1.2 mi) and LaSalette Restaurant (1.2 mi) are acclaimed options near the Plaza. Sonoma Garden Park (0.7 mi) is a short walk for a morning stroll, and Sonoma State Historic Park (1.3 mi) brings the Bear Flag Revolt and Mission San Francisco Solano to life.

Slip into the private heated pool, soak in the private hot tub off the deck, and slide the doors open under exposed wood beams when dinner's ready. The whole home is yours, with a BBQ, outdoor dining, and a screened porch when you want shade. Punch in the keypad code at the door; pull up to two cars on-site.

Things to know

A few things worth knowing before you arrive. The pool is solar-heated from May through September to around 80–85°F, weather-dependent, as there is no pool cover. There is no pool cover so cooler nights the temperature can drop. Outside that window, the pool is unheated and ranges from 50–70°F — the hot tub is available year-round for a warm soak. Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM per Sonoma County regulations. No amplified outdoor music at any time. No smoking anywhere on the premises. Maximum occupancy is 8 guests. The home has air conditioning and complimentary Wi-Fi.
