The space

Things to know
The fireplace in the photos has been removed, and we are working on updating the photos. Whale watching season runs from December through April -- grab the binoculars and watch for gray whale spouts from your window. Spring wildflowers (April-June) blanket the coastal headlands and the banks of the Gualala River with vibrant color. Summer on the Mendonoma Coast (June-September) means warm days and the occasional morning fog that burns off by lunch. Cell service can be spotty along the coast. The home has WiFi for staying connected.

“This house is incredibly close to the sea, with white surf crashing down below, 10 yards or so from the deck. The hot tub is a good size and in excellent condition. Everything was clean. The dishware was a little sparse, but that was a minor drawback. There also was no privacy screen between the hot tub/deck and a nearby house, but as no one was staying there, we were not impacted.
