Things to know

Cozy, comfortable, and scenic in every season, the living space offers natural wood walls, free WiFi throughout, and a pellet stove to warm your toes on foggy mornings. Begin each morning with homemade waffles and freshly ground coffee in the full kitchen, leaving the dishwasher to clean up as you take your dogs for a stroll (Good to know: a two-dog limit applies). Sea Ranch has three recreation centers with heated pools, saunas, and tennis courts. Access passes are provided with your stay -- check availability upon arrival as these shared amenities can be popular during peak times. Exterior lighting is minimal by design to preserve the stunning dark sky -- bring a flashlight for evening walks and enjoy some of the best stargazing on the California coast. December through April is whale season. You may spot gray whales breaching right from the bluff trail nearby. Wildflower season (April-June) transforms the coastal bluffs into a tapestry of color -- worth an extra walk on the trails.

This is a great location where one can walk to the rec center's pool, sauna, and tennis courts, as well as towards Smuggler's Cove to see harbor seals. Beautiful ocean view!

Cozy, simple and cute old school Sea Ranch home. Perfect for fun, simple folk - who don't mind a classic 1970s linoleum floor. All the earlier reports about insects - spiders and their webs, and armies of ants - totally moot. No issues with any annoying! Nice vibe to the home. Great location - and easy to walk to Ohlson Pool and the little Beach there. Cute Sea-Inspired decor, great simple…
